AW Gourmet is a UAE-based dessert business specialising in macarons, curated dessert collections, personalised products, custom orders and related confectionery products.

Our products are handmade food products and may therefore have minor variations in colour, size, decoration or appearance.

Photographs displayed on our website and social media are for presentation purposes. While we make every reasonable effort to reproduce colours and designs accurately, the final handmade product may vary slightly.

For personalised or custom products, final appearance will depend on the specifications agreed with the customer.

3. Product Information and Allergens

Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and informing AW Gourmet of relevant allergies or dietary requirements before placing or confirming an order.

Our products may contain or come into contact with allergens including, but not limited to:

• Nuts and almond products
• Milk and dairy products
• Eggs
• Gluten-containing ingredients
• Soy
• Sesame

Although certain individual products may not contain a specific allergen as an ingredient, products are prepared in a professional kitchen where multiple allergens may be present.

We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before placing an order.

4. Prices and Currency

All prices displayed on our website are stated in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) unless expressly stated otherwise.

Any applicable taxes, delivery charges or additional customisation charges will be shown or communicated before the order is completed.

AW Gourmet reserves the right to change product prices at any time. Changes will not affect orders already confirmed and paid.

5. Payments

Payment must be completed through the payment methods available at checkout.

Payments are processed by an authorised third-party payment gateway.

AW Gourmet does not store full credit or debit card details, CVV/CVC numbers or complete payment card credentials on its website.

An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully received and the customer has received confirmation from AW Gourmet.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where payment has failed, fraud is suspected, information provided is incomplete, or we are unable to fulfil the requested order.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided when placing an order is accurate, including:

• Customer name
• Contact number
• Delivery address
• Delivery date
• Order specifications
• Personalisation details
• Recipient information

AW Gourmet is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

7. Custom and Personalised Orders

Customised products may include personalised colours, designs, prints, logos, flavours, packaging, messages or other specifications.

The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving the agreed design and order details before production.

Once production, printing, ingredient preparation or customised packaging has started, changes may not be possible.

Additional changes requested after approval may be subject to additional charges.

The customer confirms that they have the right to use any logos, images, artwork, trademarks or other materials supplied to AW Gourmet for custom printing or reproduction.

8. Delivery

Delivery availability, fees and estimated delivery times are communicated during checkout or order confirmation.

Customers must ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the agreed delivery location.

Because our products are perishable and temperature-sensitive, customers should follow any storage instructions supplied with the product.

Delivery times are estimates. Reasonable delays may occur due to traffic, weather, courier issues, accidents, governmental restrictions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Storage and Handling

Customers are responsible for appropriately storing products after delivery.

Where applicable, macarons and other refrigerated desserts should be stored according to the storage instructions provided with the order.

AW Gourmet cannot be responsible for deterioration, melting, damage or food safety issues caused by improper storage or handling after successful delivery.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

Order cancellations, refunds and complaints are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply under UAE law.

11. Intellectual Property

All original website content, photographs, product concepts, designs, text, branding and other materials belonging to AW Gourmet remain the intellectual property of AW Gourmet or their respective rights holders.

They may not be reproduced, copied, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission.

12. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the website
• Attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems
• Introduce malicious software
• Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
• Copy or commercially exploit website content without authorisation

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AW Gourmet will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by UAE law.

14. Force Majeure

AW Gourmet will not be responsible for a failure or delay in fulfilling an order caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, transportation disruptions, governmental actions, power failures, accidents or other force majeure events.

Where reasonably possible, we will contact the customer and attempt to provide an appropriate alternative solution.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms, the website or an order shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless applicable mandatory law provides otherwise.

16. Changes to These Terms

AW Gourmet may update these Terms from time to time.

The version published on the website at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that order.
